Upgrading to MariaDB from MySQL

Hi, I'm looking at upgrading from MySQL to MariaDB. I'm running these systems on my server: X Cart, WordPress, PHPFox. I'm curious if anyone has had any experience upgrading within any of these systems, and what problems you've had upgrading the database.

Hello Richard, Thank you for your question on switching to MariaDB from MySQL. Unfortunately, we have not run through that process as of yet. It may be something we do in the future where we document the process and have a tutorial, but other than your question here, there has been no demand for it. I did find an article from MariaDB itself that may assist you. We have approved the question in case other readers have some input on the process. Kindest Regards, Scott M
