Migrating my IMAP through InMotion to Gmail Apps

I'm scared to take the plunge, that I will lose all of the email I have in outlook. Does this migration, through cpanel, allow you to import all of your current emails or do you lose them all? If you have to back them up, how do you get them uploaded to gmail? Once you have the gmail setup, can you point that back to outlook?

Ok, let me back up. We have had all kinds of issues with our email being blocked by other emails, specifically AT&T/Bellsouth.net and a few other, smaller extensions that block us as well. I have called in each time and they have told me at InMotion that they have requested the IP to be "scrubbed" and it always ends up blocking us again within a few days. I have had several different solutions suggested to me, but nothing has worked. We have been dealing with this for about the last 6months, on and off. As of a couple of days ago, I was again suggested to buy a VPS, which would only make my chances of not being blocked a little better, a dedicated server or to go to the gmail apps. At the time, I didn't realize that gmail apps would cost money, per user as well. Ultimately, what I want to happen is not to have my emails blocked. To the point of considering hosting my own email.

Hello,

I am not sure what you are trying to accomplish exactly. Could you rephrase the question a bit more specifically? I may then be able to give you specific steps to get you where you are trying to go.

Kindest Regards,
