Admin bugs.

Gentlemen,

I posted a question yesterday and Jon Paul was kind enough to respond but it was obvious he did not understand the issue. Below Is the question I asked and Jon Paul's response. Will someone please address this bug problem (No pun intended).

There is evidence that there may be a problem with my Open Cart Admin on my end.

I am working on an issue with reports on my end. A couple of days ago Arnel mentioned that he could see a recent order in my admin on his end. I see nothing (zero) on my end. No reports at all.

Yesterday Scott mentioned that he could see (missing orders) in the drop down status menu in Report>Orders. On my end I see everything else except (missing orders).

I have used IE and Firefox to investigate this. I have cleared the browser and cookies, and refreshed.

My interface on this end apparently has some bugs. Do you know what is happening?

Hello simonbk,

Thank you for your question. To access the missing orders go to:
Sales->Orders

Then on the Orders page, click the drop-down box under the Status heading, and click Missing Orders. Now click the Filter button to the right.

yes sir, I know where it is located and where it should be. That option is NOT in my dropdown.

In order to troubleshoot the issue, we (Scott, John Paul, and myself) have been logging directly into YOUR installation. The screenshots that I had John Paul send to you were straight from your own installation. However, any solutions are first developed on a test account before applying it to your own installation. Though in this case, there wasn't a bug.

The problem with that MISSING ORDERS "report" is that it is NOT a report at all. So if you're in reports section, you are in the wrong place. The option appears when we login as an administrator and click on SALES, then click on ORDERS. The STATUS column has a drop-down menu button. If you click on that, you will see the MISSING ORDERS option.

If you're still not seeing it, let us know the user name you're using to login to the administrator with so that we can see if it's related to that user.
