How Do I Resolve WordPress Backup Issues?
Hi Guys
I moved my hosting from Justhost to InMotion last year, at the time I setup a basic website (www.afonsoknifeworks.com) with the intention to get a more professional setup done at a later stage. The site has been active since then however a few weeks ago a friend told me that when he opened my site - he got a couple of strange errors - which were displacing the text / images to the side.
Since then the site has disappeared almost completely. None of the images show up, the only thing which is visible is a couple of menu titles - but nothing happens when they are clicked. I see from my profile that I have a Backup Manager free trial - but I have no idea what / where that is or how to use it.
I would just like to get the original site I created back online, so I can work with a web developer to get a proper site up and running.
How would I go about doing this? Is there any way someone can check the backups and get my site back?
Thanks
Kind Regards
Rick Afonso

Hello Rick,
Sorry for the problems with your WordPress site. I'm not sure how your image URLs got messed up, but when I look at them, they are showing: "http://afonsoknifeworks.com/bg_afonsoknifeworks.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/cropped-AKW-ForgeLogo.png"
So the problem is that "bg_afonsoknifeworks.com" shouldn't be in the path for that graphic. If you remove it, then the graphic will work. If you have a backup of the site, then you request restoration of it using the Account Management Panel (AMP) - Support Ticket option. You can also simply log into your WordPress Administrator and then fix the links by editing the page.
I hope this helps to explain the issue. It can easily be fixed by editing your page and changing the path for the graphic. You can also work with our live technical support team for additional assistance.
If you have any further questions or comments, please let us know.
Kindest regards,
Arnel C.
