Email changed for website, bounce back message

When one of my clients of my website emails me, it sometimes changes the email (i. e. originally [email protected], changed to [email protected] and therefore, since the email is not authorized, it bounces. I'm using InMotion hosting and cPanel for my webmail. Do you know how I can fix this?
Hello, Thank you for contacting us about emails changing addresses and bouncing back. Check that you do not have any email forwarders setup that may be causing a duplicate email to be sent/bounced. Also, track a specific returned email in your mail logs for additional clues or record of transmission. Thank you, John-Paul
