I have an SSL certificate set up and when I turn on "Force secure checkout" in woo commerce, my check-out page fails to load after 30 seconds and I get "Too many redirects occurred trying to open “https://oloc.com/checkout/”. This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open another page which then is redirected to open the original page.''

I contacted support and....

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us.

I am sorry to see you are having this difficulty with your account. We will be happy to review this further for you. I have been up and down through your installation and cannot find the reason for the redirect loop when enabling ssl either via Woocommerce Force SSL or by disabling that and using a HTTPS plugin. For some reason the redirect loop continues. I suspect is has something to do with Woocommerce itself. My suggestion at this time is to either contact Woocommerce and maybe contact our Customer Community team. They are the Wordpress subject matter experts and may be able to resolve your issue or point you in the right direction. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Hello, Thank you for contacting us about the error with too many redirects. I agree with our Tier 2 technician as far as using https:// instead of forcing the secure connection at the checkout through WooCommerce. There are plugins that can accomplish automatically. We also have a guide on how you can set up https:// with .htaccess. Let us know if you have any further questions; we're always happy to help. Best, Christopher M.
