Can't send emails to specific email address
I have an email setup in InMotion that can send and receive email just fine for the most part (I'll just call it [email protected] for reference). But there's one email address that [email protected] cannot send to (I'll call this [email protected]). At first I thought it might be something to do with [email protected], but after doing some tests, it seems to be working just fine with all other mail sent and received. Now I'm thinking maybe it has something to do with the sending setup of [email protected]? I got this error when I tried sending mail from [email protected] to [email protected]: "biz170.inmotionhosting.com gave this error: Verification failed for No Such User Here Sender verify failed" along with "Your message couldn't be delivered because the recipient's email system reported the following error: '550-Verification failed for 550-No Such User Here 550 Sender verify failed'." FYI, [email protected]'s records are managed in Office 365. I would really appreciate a little help here. I'm not sure what I should be trying to fix. Either email A or B. Thank you very much!

We can send and receive amongst ourselves, but not from others outside our domain

My members and I successfully setup our emails on our mobile phones using the GMAIL app. We can successfully send receive emails domain to domain but not from external ones. The sender eventually gets a delayed error message back or an undeliverable. Fix it please.

Checked and it returns this.

554-Reject due to policy restrictions.

Please follow our guide to strengthen overall email authentication, contact the email provider asking if there's anything more they can do to ensure your email is whitelisted, and contact Live Support if that guide doesn't work after 48 hours.

DDaviDD,

Thanks for posting a question. I'm sorry you are having issues. I'm more than happy to assist you. It sounds, from your description that you might be logging in as your cPanel user. You cannot send email directly from your cPanel user.

I would suggest logging out of webmail then logging back in with your full email address and the password.

If you need further assistance please feel free to contact us.

Thank you!

Tim S.

Thanks for submitting a question about not being able to send emails. I'd advise checking the mail logs to see if the problem is local or server-related. (If you're on shared hosting, you will need to contact live support for help checking those logs.)

Hello [email protected], Thanks for posting your question about the email issues you are having between two accounts. This sounds like it may be an issue with local/remote domains. When the domain thinks it's supposed to look on the same server for the email address, and cannot find it, it delivers the "no such user here" reply. However, if your email is being routed through Outlook365, and its controlled there. The message would need to be delivered there. Here's an article explaining in more detail the concept of local and remote domains. Thanks! Tim S

Hello, Thank you for your question. Since this is a public forum, I have marked out he domain name for the email address. We are happy to help, but will need some additional information. What happens when you send to that domain? When you send the email is it returned, or bounced? If so, our bounceback parser tool can help determine the cause. If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below. Thank you, -John-Paul
