Can’t send emails

Kevin 11 months ago updated by JT S. (Technical Writer) 4 months ago 10 16 duplicates

All the sudden, I think as of this morning, I am unable to send emails. I can receive fine and no settings have changed on my end. Not sure what the issue could be and the site is not blacklisted, etc.

Please follow our guide to strengthen overall email authentication, contact the email provider asking if there's anything more they can do to ensure your email is whitelisted, and contact Live Support if that guide doesn't work after 48 hours.

Hello corey,

Thank you for contacting us about issues sending email to a client. I recommend checking your email log for additional errors or record of the transmission. If the email is being returned, our Bounceback Parser tool can help determine why it failed.

Thank you,

John-Paul

Checked and it returns this.

Thanks for submitting a question about not being able to send emails. I'd advise checking the mail logs to see if the problem is local or server-related. (If you're on shared hosting, you will need to contact live support for help checking those logs.)

Hello manolomartinez36@yahoo.com, Thanks for posting your question about the email issues you are having between two accounts. This sounds like it may be an issue with local/remote domains. When the domain thinks it's supposed to look on the same server for the email address, and cannot find it, it delivers the "no such user here" reply. However, if your email is being routed through Outlook365, and its controlled there. The message would need to be delivered there. Here's an article explaining in more detail the concept of local and remote domains. Thanks! Tim S
Hello, Thank you for your question. Since this is a public forum, I have marked out he domain name for the email address. We are happy to help, but will need some additional information. What happens when you send to that domain? When you send the email is it returned, or bounced? If so, our bounceback parser tool can help determine the cause. If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below. Thank you, -John-Paul
Hello, Thank you for your question. This type of error may mean that your email address is not listed in the proper folder on the server. You will want to contact our Live Support team so they can check the server settings for you and correct the issue. Kindest Regards, Scott M
Hi psasso,

Thanks for posting your question. I'm sorry you're having trouble with email. I'm more than happy to assist you. Before I can look into this further I need a bit more information. Can you provide me with the email address and the domain name you are referencing so I can look at the log files?

Any additional information you can provide would be beneficial. If you need further assistance please feel free to contact us.

Thanks!

DDaviDD,

Thanks for posting a question. I'm sorry you are having issues. I'm more than happy to assist you. It sounds, from your description that you might be logging in as your cPanel user. You cannot send email directly from your cPanel user.

I would suggest logging out of webmail then logging back in with your full email address and the password.

If you need further assistance please feel free to contact us.

Thank you!

Tim S.
