My VPS Server goes down everyday from 8:15 AM to 8:30 AM EST
Everyday my Web server loses connection from 8:15 AM to 8:30 AM EST. I contacted support multiple times. Their STUPID answer is page needs optimization to get good gtmetrix score. My the Gtmetrix score is low because of images and my images are hosted at the CDN. I get a perfect Pingdon score. WHAT IN THE WORLD THE OPTIMIZATION HAS TO DO WITH WEBSERVER GOING DOWN EVERYDAY FROM 8:15 am TO 8:35 EST????? This is most STUPID argument I have every heard from a support. It looks like either their backup or whatever is timed at 8:15 AM to 8:35 AM EST which causes website to become unresponsive. It comes back at 8:36 AM and behave for rest of the dad, till 8:15 AM next day morning.
InMotionhosting has some STUPID tech support people who work with provided scripted text and refuse to resolve problem. I am at the verge of dumping this dam stupid InMotionHosting, then waste my money and time of their worst services.
Hello Sid,
Our deepest apologies for the replies that you are getting from our support team. I looked at the history of your issue, and it appears to have gone up a level above them, so they are referring to that reply, however irrelevant it may be to your situation. They should have referred you to the Managed Hosting team as they can properly assess the problem. I have sent your issue to the manager of the Managed Hosting team and he recommended that you talk with them. Use the link to contact them via phone or chat. If you reach Tier 1 technical support, kindly request that you be transferred to Managed Hosting.
There is probably a scheduled cron job (e.g. backup, malware scan, etc.) that runs at the time period that you are referring to and due to the scarcity of resources, the server goes down (or appears to go down) during that period of time.
I do understand your frustration, but please allow our Managed Hosting team to provide you some assistance and I'm sure that they will be able to identify, if not resolve, the situation that you are seeing.
Kindest regards,
Arnel C.
