no carriers available in version 1.6

I have been trying to correct the problem I have stating there are no carriers available for the address listed when orders are placed. I have version 1.6 and at first was using the first option of enable stock management and had this problem. After researching the problem I changed it to advanced stock management, added a warehouse, enabled carriers for the warehouse and updated the product quantities. I still receive the message that there are no carriers available for the address listed in the order. I have run out of ideas as to where the problem could be. Can anyone direct me t the right path? Thanks

Hello Brucewp1, Sorry for the problem with the carriers in PrestaShop 1.6. The problem maybe associated with settings as it has been reported multiple times in the PrestaShop support forum. Check out these posts and replies. Several people have indicated how they resolved, but there are various ways that this problem has appeared. Compare and see if the solutions posted meet your issue. If you continue to have a problem, please provide us more information in terms of the carrier you're trying to use. Also, if you can provide information on how we can duplicate the issue as well as access your admin, then we can investigate it in more depth. I hope this helps steer you in the right direction.
