Hello!
I'm having an issue with sending emails today - getting this response. Is this because of me, or the people i am trying to send it to?

SMTP error from remote mail server after initial connection:
host smtp.secureserver.net [72.167.238.201]: 554-p3pismtp01-018.prod.phx3.secureserver.net
554 Your access to this mail system has been rejected due to the sending MTA's poor reputation. If you believe that this failure is in error, please contact the intended recipient via alternate means.

Hello traviscurry, and thanks for your question. I apologize for the issues, I took a look and it appears the shared-server's current mailing IP address of [74.124.214.228] isn't currently listed on any public blacklists. However it looks like the particular server's that you're trying to send to, do have the IP address internally blacklisted. It doesn't look like there are a lot of mail errors in general on the server, so it seems to possibly be specific to that email provider. If possible, could you get in contact with these users via alternate means and have them contact their email host to ask why they can't receive mail from the IP address [74.124.214.228]. If they are blocking it for any reason, they can always notify us via [email protected] for us to investigate any spamming claims. I also just wrote an article that covers sending mail via Gmail when server IP is blocked that would provide you a work around using a Google Gmail account in the meantime if it's still being blocked. Please let us know if you have any further questions at all. - Jacob
