How to remove a dedicated IP to downgrade a dedicated server?

Hi there!

The company I work for wants to downgrade a dedicated server to a simple hosting plan because we want to update our main AD tools website and host it on a custom server (here, at InmotionHosting).

Already tried to work it out with Tyler, one of your agents, however the billing department could not find a solution for why the IP address can't be removed. We want to avoid paying $48/year since we migrate the website which is left on the current server to a shared hosting.

Any suggestions, please? Days a passing, the server is up, money is being wasted.

Respectfully,

Robert Gombos

Hello Robert,

Sorry for the trouble with removing the dedicated IP address and downgrading a website from a dedicated server to a simple hosting plan. I had to do a little digging, but I did find your account and it appears that the move occurred.  I'm not sure if it corresponds to what you are referring to in this question.  If you can provide a little information as to the accounts involved and the specific IP address you wish removed, then I can work with our technical support staff to review and address the issue.  The Support Center website is manned by a different team, and this type of request would need to be handled by senior technical staff.  We do apologize for any continuing inconvenience and we promise to make it right if it is within our power to do so.

If you have any further questions or comments, please let us know.

Kindest regards,

Arnel C.
