I'm trying to install the wordpress app onto my domain but keep getting a "installation already exists at...uninstall and reinstall" error. Why is this coming up and how do I fix it?

Hello, Thank you for your question regarding a WordPress installation error. Typically, the "installation already exists" error means that WordPress has already been installed in the folder you are installing to, or there are left-over files from a previous WordPress installation. The error will usually list the files/folders that need to be uninstalled to proceed. You can view existing installations in Softaculous by clicking the "All Installations" link on the top, it looks like a filing cabinet. If you no longer need the files/installation, you can uninstall it from Softaculous. If it is not listed in Softaculous and you no longer need the files, you can delete them and proceed with installing. Thank you, John-Paul
