Wedge Theme Update Issues

Since updating Wordpress and the BoldGrid Wedge theme I have had numerous issues, I have been told over email and now chat, that there is a problem with the theme update and the developers are aware of it. CSS on all of my sites (I have a lot of sites) has been broken as a result of this update, and BoldGrid are refusing to help me. I have put most of it right myself, but there are some elements which are just not changing. I'm no CSS expert, but I know enough. The following are the issues I am left to tackle, Joey on chat today said these are some of the issues they are unable to help with until BG has been fixed!!

1. The search box and ratings in the footer are not centre aligning - I have tried everything but it is not changing.

2. Despite me changing my colour palette and the CSS file, the heading text is the wrong colour.

Is there something overriding the CSS file somewhere? My company have been with Weebly for years, we wanted to move our sites to a more reliable company - I was recommended Inmotion and BoldGrid by a few people (2 of which are also experiencing issues), but every support person I have spoken to so far keeps saying there is a "root issue with BoldGrid that has to be corrected first" before they can offer me support... which is very worrying. I still have some sites to move over, but am thinking twice about that now.

Hello, Sorry to hear you are having issues with your theme after upgrading. Did you check with the BoldGrid support center at http://Boldgrid.com/support? They have an article about these specific issues that should help you. It is called Possible Issues after Theme Upgrade. BoldGrid is software and we are a client of them, but software, like WordPress, Joomla, or any other, can possibly have issues come up from time to time that developers need to correct. This would happen no matter where the software was running. InMotion does work very closely with BoldGrid and they are indeed aware of, and correcting the issue for the next release. Kindest Regards, Scott M
