Cannot complete a WP backup with any backup plugin

I have recently added a WP hosting program in order to see how optimized it was. After installing Backupbuddy I tried to run a backup without success, after a while there is a timeout in the "zipping" process. After installing another backup tool (Duplicator) it also stalled and could not complete the operation. The message said : some hosts limit the amount of time a PHP/Web request process can run. I've removed anything unecessary and the WP install is not huge, total backup size is 188Mb. Heartbeat control is installed. Is there a way to go through the backup process ?

Hello, Thank you for contacting us about WordPress backups. Using a plugin for backups can use up resources fairly quickly. I recommend using Softaculous to backup your WordPress installation. If your WordPress site was not installed with Softaculous, you can import it into Softaculous. Best, Christopher M.
