Wordpress Custom WP-Admin URL plugin won't let me reset password

A while ago I installed the "Custom WP-Admin URL" plugin to create a custom URL for the admin login on my WordPress site, because the site was repeatedly being bombarded with login attempts and getting suspended.
It's been a while since I worked on my site, and in the meantime I have forgotten my WP admin password.
And I cannot reset my password, because the link in the email I get from WordPress to reset my password takes me to the regular wp-admin URL, and then the plug-in redirects to just my blog's main page (as it's supposed to).

Hello,

Thank you for your question regarding WordPress. You may want to go into the plugins folder and rename the custom WP-Admin URL's folder to disable the plugin. At least until you get you password reset then you can rename it back to what it was previously.
