Installing WP into subdirectory

Do I need to create the subdirectory first and then use Softaculous to install WP, typing in the name of the subdirectory I just made? Or do I not create a subdirectory but type the name of one I would like Softaculous to create as it is installing the WP?

Hello InMotionFans, Thank you for your contacting us about installing WordPress in a subdirectory. You do not need to create the directory before installing WordPress using Softaculous.
