blog response on static contact page

created a Contact page that shows on my header, when you click on contact -it takes you to the page and the contact info is displayed -name -email-subject -message BUT immediately after the contact info - a blog type reply/comment section appears
How do I erase the reply -comment section? I do not want a visitor to leave comments -I simply want them to me able to email me with their contact info That's what I thought a static page does.
