I've now have two clients who have had their websites/accounts suspended. Both have been told that it's from a dramatic increase in traffic. Both have WP accounts. One was experiencing a brute force login attempt and the other is experience thousands of hits on particular pages. I've been told by IMH for one of the clients that the issue was a plugin (Secure WP), I needed to install WP-Super Cache and a login blocking plugin. The other client was told her issues were due to the suckerfish plugin (pixopoint) but she has WP-supercache and login lockdown on her site. SO ... what is the real issue here? I get the feeling that the tech support is fishing for answers to a bigger problem. My first client is still experiencing issues. Does anyone else have this problem going on and if so...what have you discovered?
As the answer will be very specific to each account, it will take a Systems Administrator to investigate the two accounts and give you the exact details.
You will want to contact the Live Support team by phone (888-321-4678 ext 2 or 757-416-6575 ext 2)to speak directly to a System Administrator. They have access to all the data and can advise on what led to the suspension as well as help with solutions.
