With Platform InMotion you can quickly see any out-of-date items within your project at a glance. This can save time when you are managing multiple WordPress websites since you don\u2019t have to login to the individual Dashboard of each site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If updates are available you can follow the link to login automatically and update with just a single click. In this guide, we\u2019ll show you how to update WordPress with Platform InMotion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Updating WordPress with Platform InMotion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Login to Platform InMotion<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Choose a project to manage, and click on its card.

  3. Navigate to the Site Stats<\/strong> menu, and scroll to the Updates<\/strong> section. Here, you\u2019ll see any out-of-date items listed, which can include WordPress core, Plugins, or Themes (if no updates are available it will display a message stating \u201cEverything is up to date The latest and greatest is up and running!<\/em>\u201c). Click the Update In WordPress<\/strong> link. You will then be logged in to the Updates<\/em> section of your WordPress Dashboard.

  4. You will see the following message listed \u201cAn updated version of WordPress is available.\u201d and it will say what version you are from<\/em> and to<\/em>. Click the button labeled Update to versions X.X.X<\/strong>, in this example it was version 6.0.1. The upgrade will then be performed and you should be on a \u201cWhat\u2019s New<\/em>\u201d page when it completes.
