Accessing your email through webmail is a quick and convenient way to stay connected without installing extra software. In this guide, you\u2019ll learn how to log in using your domain name, cPanel, or port 2096 for secure access. With just a few clicks, you can easily manage your inbox from any device with an internet connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where do I Log in to Webmail?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You will be asked for a username and password. The username will be your full email address (all lowercase). The password will be your email address password. Forgot your password?<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is Webmail?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are several ways to\u00a0check your email<\/a>. For example, you can set up a desktop email client like Microsoft Outlook or Mac Mail or a web-based client like\u00a0Gmail.<\/span> You can also check your email from your phone, such as an iPhone<\/a> or an Android<\/a> phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like the previous examples, webmail is another tool for sending and receiving emails. Webmail is different because you can access it using a web browser. It doesn\u2019t require you to set up the software. You can simply log into webmail and begin to use it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steps for Logging into Webmail<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The steps below will show you how to log in to webmail. In this example, we are assuming the email address you want to check is user@example.com<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. There are a few different URLs that access your webmail:
    \u2013 example.com\/webmail
    \u2013 webmail.example.com
    \u2013 example.com:2096

    While example.com\/webmail is the standard choice, the other options are available if the first one does not reach your webmail login due to a DNS error, firewall, or redirect.

    Be sure to replace example.com<\/em> with your actual domain name.<\/p><\/li>\n\n\n\n

  2. Enter your username and password, and then click OK.

    User Name:<\/strong> Enter your full email address, all lowercase
    Password:<\/strong> Enter your email address password<\/p><\/li>\n\n\n\n

  3. You should now be logged in! Click on one of the three webmail clients and get started using your email!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    You can also log into webmail via the convenient cPanel interface. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    3. Find the email account you want to check and click Check Email<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      I am not prompted for a username\/password<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      If you are not asked to enter a username and password when visiting example.com\/webmail<\/em>, please try going to\u00a0webmail.example.com instead<\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      This issue is usually caused by a firewall within your network blocking the webmail ports of 2095 and 2096. Using webmail.example.com allows you to access webmail over port 80, the normal port used for web traffic.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      I forgot my password<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      If you forget your email address password, the easiest solution is to\u00a0reset it<\/a><\/span> within cPanel<\/a> and then try to log into webmail again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Note:<\/strong> The cPanel interface has changed to a theme called Paper Lantern. When you log into webmail, you will see the options available for the different types of clients. A gear symbol in the menu bar at the top of the screen will allow you to select which Webmail client you wish to use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
