What are autoresponders?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

An autoresponder is a feature within your email settings that allows you to automatically send a response when an email is sent to a specific email address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When do I use Autoresponder?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s really up to you when to use the autoresponder feature. Typically, businesses will use the autoresponder feature to let others know when they are out of the office, to confirm reciept of an email, and to acknowledge and thank customers for an order that may have been placed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How do I set up an Autoresponder within Webmail?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

First, you will need to log into webmail. You can log into webmail by visiting yourdomain.com\/webmail in your web browser. Please be sure to replace \u201cyourdomain.com\u201d with your actual domain name. Login to the pop up box with your full email address as the username and the password associated with the email account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now that you are logged into Webmail, verify that you are logged into the correct account where it says \u201cYou are logged in as\u2026<\/strong>\u201d and click \u201cAutoresponders<\/strong>\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the next window loads, click on the \u201cAdd Autoresponder<\/strong>\u201d button<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the next screen you will create your autorepsonder. Once you have filled in the information and have verified that all of it is correct, click \u201cCreate\/Modify<\/strong>\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Interval<\/em> field is a timeframe that limits when a person will get another autoresp[onse. For example, if the interval is set to 8 hours and a person gets an autoresponse, they will not get another within 8 hours even if they send additional emails.<\/div>\n\n\n\n

You now can confirm that the autorepsonder is set up correctly by visiting the autorepsonder page again. You will see the newly created autorepsonder in the list as below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
