This guide will show you how to update Joomla 4 to the newest version.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Update Joomla 4<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
  1. Login to your Joomla Admin Panel<\/a>.<\/li>
  2. If you see an available update listed under \u201cNotifications\u201d, you can click the notification.

    If you do not see a notification, you can check for updates by clicking System<\/strong> in the navigation menu, then looking under the \u201cUpdate\u201d section. New versions of Joomla 4 will be listed in yellow. Click the Joomla<\/strong> link.

  3. You will then be taken to a \u201cPre-Update Check\u201d page. You can click the Required Settings<\/strong>, Recommended Settings<\/strong>, and Extensions<\/strong> to ensure that they meet the requirements for the update.

  4. You will also see warnings to check if your extensions are available for the new versions and to make a backup of your site<\/a> before updating.

  5. Click the Update<\/strong> button once you have made a backup, checked that your extensions are compatible, and verified that you meet the required settings.
