If you have purchased your domain name through Enom, InMotion Hosting still fully supports it. Domain names registered at Enom will need to point to our nameservers<\/a> in order to function. This change will need to be done within your Enom account. The guide below demonstrates how to change your nameservers within the Enom account manager tool.<\/p>\n

Changing the Nameservers at Enom<\/h2>\n

    Visit https:\/\/enom.com<\/em> and click on the Login<\/strong> link in the upper right corner of the screen. This will bring up the login box. Enter your username and password and then click the Login<\/strong> button.<\/p>\n

    This opens to your main page for your account. Look for the Domains<\/em> category and click on the Registered<\/strong> link.<\/p>\n

    You are now taken to the domain settings page. You will see a list of settings under the domain name. Find and click on the DNS Server Settings<\/strong> link.<\/p>\n

    This next page is the Edit DNS Server<\/em> page. To point your domain to InMotion\u2019s nameservers, first click on the Custom<\/em> radio button. This will present you with a blank area to enter nameservers. Enter the following nameservers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
    Name Server 1:<\/th>\nNS1.INMOTIONHOSTING.COM<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Name Server 2:<\/th>\nNS2.INMOTIONHOSTING.COM<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

  5. Once you have entered the nameserver names, click on the Save<\/strong> button in the lower right corner.\n

    After clicking the Save<\/em> button you will get a propagation notice popup. This lets you know that it will take up to 24 hours for the change to take place across the web. Simply click OK<\/strong> to continue.<\/p>\n

    After you have changed your nameservers a success message will appear on the Edit DNS Servers<\/em> page. This lets you know that your change is now in progress and your domain should soon display content from your InMotion server.<\/p>\n
