Outlook 2011 is a version of Microsoft Outlook available for the Mac computer. You can set up Outlook 2011 as an email client to send and receive email from your email hosted at InMotion Hosting.<\/p>\n

First, you will need to log into Outlook 2011. Next, we will go through the steps to add a new account:<\/p>\n

If you are unsure what your email settings are, you can find them with our Email Configuration<\/a> tool.<\/p>\n

  1. Click on Tools<\/strong>, and then Accounts<\/strong>….<\/li>\n
  2. On the Add an Account<\/em> menu, click E-mail<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Enter your full email address and password on the next screen and click Add Account<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Once the account is added, you will fill in the information for the new email account.<\/p>\n

    Pesonal Information<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n\n
    Account Description<\/th>\nThis is the name your mail will show as in your Microsoft Office inbox.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Full name<\/th>\nInsert your full name here, as this is the name that will show when you send email<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    E-mail address<\/th>\nPut in your full email address, for example tim@example.com<\/em><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

    Server Information<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
    User name<\/th>\nThis will be your full email address. For example, kevin@example.com.<\/em> Make sure to include the full address, including the @example.com<\/em>.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Password<\/th>\nThis is the password for the email account you listed above, not your cPanel password.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Incoming Mail Server<\/th>\nIf your domain points to InMotion Hosting, the incoming mail server is mail.example.com.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Outgoing Mail Server<\/th>\nThis will be the same as your Incoming Mail Server, mail.example.com. Make sure it is using Port 465.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

    As Outlook recommends, check the boxes that say Use SSL to connect<\/strong>. After confirming the information click on red circle at the top left to close the window. To confirm the account was added, check your Outlook Inbox. There you will see listed the account you just added with your Account Description.<\/p>\n
