Modules make up a good deal of the functionality built into the PHP-Nuke content management system. The following article explains how to remove modules so that they are no longer part of the front end menu. Certain modules can be assigned for viewing, so that they may be visible to some while invisible to others. Administrators can also de-activate modules so that they are not available to anyone. The following article explains the various ways to deactivate or remove modules from the front end using the PHP-Nuke Administration back end interface.<\/div>\n

Deleting Modules from Access in PHP-Nuke<\/h2>\n

  1. Login to the PHP-Nuke Administration Back-end interface as an administrator.<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. \"Icon<\/a>\n
    <\/div>\n

    Click on MODULES\u00a0<\/strong>icon.\u00a0<\/p><\/li>\n

  3. \n
    \"Module<\/a>\n
    <\/div>\n

    When you click on the MODULES icon you will see a table listing all of the available modules. \u00a0The table shows the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
    Title<\/th>\nModule title<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Custom Title<\/th>\nFurther description of the module<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Status<\/th>\nStatus of module; active\/inactive and if it is loaded in the home page<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Visible to<\/th>\nWho can view the module<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Group<\/th>\nShows if module is assigned to a specific user group<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Functions<\/th>\nEdit module, activate\/de-activate module\/put in home<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n

  4. In order to remove a module from the front-end menu, go to the FUNCTIONS<\/strong> column of the table and click on middle icon.\n

    Click on the first icon to EDIT<\/strong> the module. Depending on the module, this will allow you change who can view the icon, and also determine if the module visible in the menu or not. \u00a0<\/p>\n

  6. Click on the drop-down menu labeled \u201cWho can view this?\u201d \u00a0This will allow you to select who can view the module: \u00a0All Visitors, Registered Users only, Administrators only, or Subscribed users. \u00a0Select the one that best applies to the module you are editing.<\/li>\n
  7. Next, click on either YES<\/strong> or NO<\/strong> for the \u201cVisible in Modules Block?<\/strong>\u201d option. \u00a0If you select NO<\/strong>, then the module will not be visible in the menu.<\/li>\n
  8. Click on SAVE CHANGES<\/strong> at the bottom to save your selections.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
