Any person or entity attempting to contract with InMotion Hosting for services who reside in a country with comprehensive U.S. sanctions or whose IP address shows from one of the countries with comprehensive U.S. sanctions will be prohibited from obtaining services through us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"alert alert-info\">All \u201ccountries we cannot do business with\u201d are determined based on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.treasury.gov\/resource-center\/sanctions\/Programs\/Pages\/Programs.aspx\">Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC)<\/a> and related U.S. regulatory agencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Policy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We <strong>cannot approve<\/strong> or continue accounts if the contact address or IP address is in any country with which U.S. law prohibits certain business relationships (trade, export, or financial transactions).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Current List of Restricted Countries<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As of the last policy update (September 2025), <strong>InMotion Hosting<\/strong> does <em>not<\/em> do business (cannot approve accounts) with contact or IP addresses in the following countries:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Crimea (.ua or Crimea.ua for Ukraine)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cuba (.cu)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Iran (.ir)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>North Korea (.kp)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Russia (.ru)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Syria (.sy)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Portions of Ukraine: Donetsk, Kherson, Luhansk, &amp; Zaporizhzhia<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Venezuela (.ve)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, other countries have partial, targeted, or sectoral sanctions (as opposed to full embargoes) under U.S. law.
