The X-Frame-Options HTTP header specifies whether your Drupal website<\/a> can be displayed within other websites with the <frame>, <iframe>, <object>, or <embed> HTML tags. This improves Drupal security against clickjacking and related cyber attacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Below we\u2019ll cover how to install the Security Kit module<\/a> and enable X-Frames-Options<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mozilla recommends<\/a> using the superseding Content Security Policy frame-ancestors<\/code> attribute instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Install Security Kit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Login to Drupal<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Install the Drupal module<\/a> using the Security Kit download link<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Click Install<\/strong> at the bottom.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Click Configuration<\/strong> at the top.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    X-Frames-Options<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    1. Under System<\/em>, Click Security Kit settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Under Clickjacking<\/em>, click X-Frame-Options Header<\/strong> for options.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Select an X-Frames-Options HTTP header:
      SAMEORIGIN<\/strong> \u2013 your website can be framed in the same webpage (default option)
      Disabled<\/strong>
      DENY<\/strong> \u2013 website cannot be displayed in a frame
      ALLOW-FROM<\/strong> \u2013 website can only be framed within URIs specified below; may not work in newer browsers. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. At the bottom, click Save configuration<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
