There\u2019s also <a href=\"\/support\/product-guides\/vps-hosting\/snapshots\/\">Snapshots in your Account Management Panel (AMP)<\/a>. If you\u2019re auditing logs for how well your security has improved throughout a duration of time, you may want to compare your current ConfigServer Security &amp; Firewall (CSF) configurations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have Advanced Policy Firewall (APF), <a href=\"\/support\/security\/install-csf\/\">upgrade to <\/a><a href=\"\/support\/security\/install-csf\/\">CSF<\/a> today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CSF has seven (7) preconfigured configuration files, called profiles, available for usage and comparison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Below we\u2019ll cover how to backup, restore, and compare CSF profiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"backup\">Backup<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>CSF creates backups automatically during upgrades. But if you want to backup your current configuration before trying some new settings, it\u2019s helpful to create a backup beforehand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"article_list wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"\/support\/edu\/whm\/log-into-whm\/\">Log in to WHM<\/a>.<\/li><li>Select <strong>ConfigServer Security &amp; Firewall<\/strong> on the left.<\/li><li>Select <strong>Firewall Profiles<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Under <em>Backup csf.conf<\/em>, click <strong>Create Backup<\/strong>.<\/li><li>When the backup completes, you\u2019ll see the backup file name and path.
