For example, <em>vps12345.inmotionhosting.com<\/em> could become <em>secure.domain.com<\/em> or <em>semail.domain.com<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To start the process, read the section \u201c<em>Changing Your Server\u2019s Hostname<\/em>\u201d in our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.inmotionhosting.com\/support\/email\/configuring-your-vps-dedicated-server-as-a-mail-server\/\"><em>VPS as a Mail Server<\/em> guide<\/a> and decide on a PTR name which would apply to the entire server.
