This will allow you to keep your website content private while communicating with your visitors that the website is being worked on. IMPORTANT:<\/b> The following instructions require that you have installed the WordPress plugin: Under Construction<\/strong> by Web Factory<\/em><\/a>.<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Choose a Design<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are a variety of options to choose from for the design of your Under Construction page. The steps below will guide you through the process of selecting a design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Log into WordPress<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Hover over Settings<\/i> and click on Under Construction<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Click on the Design<\/b> tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Click on the Activate<\/b> button under your preferred design choice.

  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save Changes<\/b>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Content Settings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The Under Construction Page plugin includes an interface to modify the content displayed on your website, when enabled. In this section you can learn how to modify the content settings<\/em> to customize your Under Construction Page<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Log into WordPress<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Hover over Settings<\/i> and click on Under Construction<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Click on the Content<\/b> tab.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Refer to the table below for more details regarding the free<\/b> settings available under this tab. Once you have made your modifications, be sure to click the Save Changes<\/b> button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
      Field<\/th>Description<\/th><\/tr><\/thead>
      Title<\/th>The title<\/em> appears in the text of the tab in your broswer. The default value uses the [site-title] shortcode. This will display your Site’s Title<\/a> in place of the shortcode.<\/td><\/tr>
      Description<\/th>Although the description<\/em> will not be displayed on the Under Construction Page, it may appear in the Snippet that Search Engines display for results found on your website. The default value uses the [site-tagline] shortcode, to use your Site’s Tagline in place of the shortcode.<\/td><\/tr>
      Headline<\/th>The headline<\/em> appears on the Under Construction Page as the main heading. The default text generally emphasizes that some work is being done on the site. However, you can customize this message to captivate your audience using more personable text.<\/td><\/tr>
      Content<\/th>The content<\/em> appears on the Under Construction Page. The editor allows you to customize the content (text and media) much like the Editor for WordPress Pages and Posts.<\/td><\/tr>
      Login Button<\/th>This toggle will disable\/enable a transparent button on the Under Construction Page. This button will allow anyone to access the WordPress Login Page when clicked.<\/td><\/tr>
      Show Some Love<\/th>If you are loving UnderConstruction, you can show it by enabling this toggle. When enabled, “Create stunning under construction pages for WordPress.
