And that can <strong>cost you money<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So how can we fix this error and get back to business fast?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"#investigate\">Investigate possible DNS issues (can you connect?)<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"#license\">Make sure your WHMCS license is valid and connected<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"investigate\">Investigate Possible DNS Issues<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Your WHMCS site does not exist on an island, it needs to reach out to WHMCS servers to exchange important bits of data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So you may need to ask yourself some questions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Are you hosting your site on a local server?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Is your installation able to connect out to the web?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Are there firewalls or security systems that might be blocking your app?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have trouble answering any of these questions, you should bring them to your IT manager or developer. They should be able to provide you with the information you need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"license\">Connect Your WHMCS License Key<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have not done so already, you must connect your WHMCS license key in order for the app to work correctly.
