The Jetpack plugin for WordPress lets you easily add a Gravatar widget<\/strong> to your site.     Gravatar<\/a> (Globally Recognized Avatar) is a personal page attached to your email address.     You can add a picture, links to websites, as well as any social media account links.     Your Gravatar is like a personal listing all about you.<\/p>\n
 In this article we'll show you how you can update your Gravatar image and add it to your WordPress blog. \n<\/code><\/pre>\n
In order to follow along with this tutorial you will need to install the Jetpack plugin<\/a>.<\/div>\n
How to Create a Gravatar<\/h2>\n
If you have already created your Gravatar, you can skip this section.<\/p>\n

  1. Go to Gravatar<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. Sign up with Gravatar by creating a WordPress.com account (this will require an email address, username, and password<\/li>\n
  3. Click Continue<\/b><\/li>\n
  4. Wait for the confirmation email and click Activate<\/b> when it arrives<\/li>\n
  5. Click the Sign in to Gravatar<\/b> button once you are redirected<\/li>\n
  6. Click Sign in<\/b> at the top right corner of the Gravatar home page<\/li>\n
  7. Click Add a new image<\/b> on your account page<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    You will now have an avatar image associated with your email address. More and more websites support Gravatar now, so this image will follow you around the Internet. Make sure it’s a good one.<\/p>\n
    How to Add a New Image to Gravatar<\/h2>\n
    There may come a time when you need to update the image you’ve used on your Gravatar. This is easy to do. First, you will just need to log back into your Gravatar account using the WordPress.com login credentials you created before. Under your profile, you will see an option to Add a new image<\/b>. Here, you can add your new image and select it as your primary.<\/p>\n
    Adding the Gravatar Widget to Your WordPress Site<\/h2>\n
    Now that you know how create and\/or update your Gravatar image, we will continue with adding the Gravatar to your WordPress site.<\/p>\n
