When you contact InMotion Hosting, for security and privacy, you will be asked to verify your account<\/a>. You can provide account verification with either the last 4 digits of a credit card on file<\/strong>, an AMP Hashcode<\/strong><\/a>, or a Passphrase<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Passphrase can be any word\/phrase that you would provide in lieu of the AMP password or last 4 digits of your credit card to verify your account. In this guide, you can learn how to add a Passphrase<\/strong> using the AMP<\/strong> interface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Add a Passphrase<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Log into your AMP<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click on the My Account<\/b> drop-down menu.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Click on Login & Security<\/b>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Scroll down to the bottom of this page, to reach the Account Passphrase<\/i> section. Then, click on Edit Passphrase<\/b>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. In the field that appears, enter your desired Passphrase using letters and\/or numbers. Special characters are not allowed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Click the Save<\/b> button to save your new Passphrase.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Now that you have added a Passphrase to your account<\/strong> you may provide it when contacting InMotion Hosting, to verify your account. If you add a Developer Passphrase<\/strong>, you can provide this to your developer or designer. They will be able to provide this to Support Agents and receive verified access to the account’s cPanel. A Developer Passphrase will not<\/em> provide AMP access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
