Maybe it was sending out spam and you suspect it&#8217;s been hacked. A good solution is to suspend the email account or put outgoing email on hold. This will stop the email transmissions immediately, which can protect your mail server from being blacklisted or flagged for spamming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can easily suspend an email account directly in cPanel. Then, once you have figured out the problem, simply unsuspend it to resume sending and receiving emails. So, follow along and learn<strong> how to suspend and unsuspend email accounts in cPanel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Suspend\/Unsuspend Email Accounts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"article_list wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"\/support\/edu\/cpanel\/access-cpanel-via-whm\/\">Log into cPanel<\/a>.<\/li><li>Click the <strong>Email Accounts<\/strong> link in the <em>Email<\/em> section.<\/li><li>You will see your email accounts listed. Keep in mind there may be multiple pages. Click the <strong>Manage<\/strong> link next to the account you want to <em>Suspend<\/em> or <em>Unsuspend<\/em>.<\/li><li>Scroll down to the <em>Restrictions<\/em> section and choose your settings.
