Do you want to protect your live website from issues that could occur when you make changes? You can now make a copy of your site using the Staging feature in Softaculous. This cloned version can be stored in any folder location on your server. Keep it active for future tests if you want to reuse it.<\/p>\n
Create a Staging Site<\/h2>\nCurrently, this new Staging feature will only work with some CMS\u2019s such as WordPress, Magento, or Drupal.<\/div>\n\n- Log into cPanel<\/a>.<\/li>\n
- Click the Softaculous Apps Installer<\/b> link in the Software<\/em> section.<\/li>\n

- Choose the domain you want to set up the staging site on from the drop-down menu.\n\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- If you want to install the staging site in a directory, enter it in the available field. For example, if you enter \u2018test\u2019 in the field you would have to navigate to \u2018example.com\/test\u2019 to visit the site.\n\u00a0<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
- If you want to set the name of the testing site\u2019s database, enter it in the available field.
