When starting out, you may not want the world to see your progress yet. Below we cover how to set your CMS Made Simple website to maintenance mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maintenance Mode<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Log into CMS Made Simple. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click Site Admin,<\/strong> then Settings \u2013 Global Settings<\/strong>.

  3. Locate \u201cBlocks HTML output\u201d in the list of cache types. Select it, and from the \u201cActions\u201d dropdown menu, choose \u201cEnable.\u201d Click the \u201cSubmit\u201d button to apply the changes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Click on the \u201cBlocks HTML output\u201d tab to access configuration settings. Customize block caching settings, including cache lifetime and granular control over block caching. Once configured, click \u201cSave Config\u201d to implement changes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Exclude Users From \u201cSite Down\u201d Status<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    1. Select \u201cYes\u201d under Exclude users logged in to the CMSMS Admin <\/strong>console and insert IP addresses to exclude.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Click Submit<\/strong>, then Yes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
