In this guide we will show you how to manage your DNS<\/strong> through your AMP<\/strong> for your Cloud Server. To use the DNS editor in AMP you need to ensure your domain is pointed to our nameservers. If you registered your domain through us it will be pointed to ours by default.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adding a Domain<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Log into your AMP<\/a>Ansible<\/a> (Account Management Panel).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click the Domain Management<\/b> button.

  3. You will then see an Add Domain<\/em> button and a Manage Domains<\/em> section.

  4. Your primary domain will already be listed by default. To add another URL click the Add Domain<\/b> button.

  5. Enter the domain name you want to manage and click the Add Domain<\/b> button. The server\u2019s default IP address will automatically be filled in, but you can change it if you need a specific address.

  6. You will then see a \u201cDomain successfully added<\/em>\u201d message.

    Using the Zone Editor<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    In the Zone Editor you will have 4 sections: SOA Record, Add Record, Zone File Records, Reset Zone File. For managing your individual records, you will also have the option at the bottom of the page to reset your whole zone file.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Please note that DNS changes may take 4-24 hours to propagate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Log into your AMP (Account Management Panel).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Click the Domain Management<\/b> button.

    3. Click Edit<\/b> next to the domain you would like to make DNS changes for in the Manage Domains<\/em> section.

      SOA Record:<\/b> This section lets you adjust refresh and expires for your SOA record. You will generally not need to make changes to this, but if you do click the Submit Edited SOA Record<\/b> to save your changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Add Record:<\/b> This Section will let you create a new DNS record, simply select a Type<\/b> from the drop down and enter your values. Click the Submit Record<\/b> button to save your records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Zone File Records:<\/b> This section allows you to view and modify your existing DNS records, to modify the records find the record you want to edit and click Edit<\/b>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Reset Zone File:<\/b> This will reset your zone file back to default like when your server was originally provisioned, This cannot be undone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
