VirtueMart includes one option by default to handle shipping, VM \u2013 Shipment, By weight, ZIP and countries<\/strong>. This shipping module allows you to set shipping prices based upon the weight of the order and which zip code \/ country the order is being shipped to. In this tutorial, we will walk you through the steps for setting up a shipping option for products under 10 pounds.<\/p>\n

To configure VM \u2013 Shipment, By weight, ZIP and countries:<\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. Log into your Joomla Dashboard<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. In the top menu, hover over Components<\/strong> and click VirtueMart<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. In the left menu, click Shop<\/strong> and then click Shipment Methods
    \"under-shop-click-shipment-methods\"<\/a>\n
    <\/div>\n

    <\/p><\/strong><\/li>\n

  4. Click New<\/strong> in the top right menu<\/li>\n
  5. Fill out the details under the Shipment Method Information<\/strong>, and then click Save<\/strong> in the top right menu. We entered the following details:

    Shipment Description<\/th>\nThis shipping method is only available for orders 10 pounds or less.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Shipment Method<\/th>\nVM \u2013 Shipment, By weight, ZIP and countries<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/li>\n
  6. Click the Configuration<\/strong> tab, and then fill out the details below and click Save & Close<\/strong> in the top right menu. We used the following settings:

  7. When you test your online store, you will now see your new VirtueMart Shipping option<\/strong> available! As we setup our shipping option for orders 10 pounds and less, be sure your order weight matches the shipping you just created during your testing or else it won\u2019t be available.
