You can also allow the cPanel password to be reset by the users after enabling the option in the Tweak settings of WHM (<em>note: Making a Tweak Setting change requires <a href=\"https:\/\/www.inmotionhosting.com\/support\/amp\/obtain-root-access\/\">root<\/a> access<\/em>). It will be under the section labeled <em>Account Information<\/em>. Click on the + sign.\n<p><a href=\"\/support\/images\/stories\/reset-password-whm\/reset-pw-3.png\" rel=\"lightbox-0\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"std_ss\" src=\"\/support\/images\/stories\/reset-password-whm\/reset-pw-3.png\" alt=\"Change Password field\"><\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>You will see a <em>Change Password:<\/em> field appear under the domain name.<\/li>\n<li>Type in the new password for the cPanel account<\/li>\n<li>Click on the blue <strong>Change<\/strong> button to the right of the password field to save the new password.<\/li>\n<li>WHM will provide a confirmation of the changed password.
