What is WHMCS?<\/h2>\n

WHMCS is a full management and e-commerce tool for web hosting resellers. We cover the product in more detail in our Why Use WHMCS?<\/a> article.<\/p>\n

Logging into WHMCS for the First Time<\/h2>\n

At this point in the reseller series, you have received your WHMCS license key<\/a> and installed WHMCS<\/a>. In this article, we will cover the next step: logging into your WHMCS for the first time.<\/p>\n

  1. Go to the directory in which your WHMCS was installed. In our example, the directory is \/billing. In your case, the directory may be your domain name, a subdomain (whmcs.example.com), or a subdirectory like billing (example.com\/billing).<\/li>\n
  2. \"Admin<\/a>\n

    Type \/admin after the directory. This will redirect you to the login page for administrators.<\/p>\n

    Enter your username and password. The username by default is \u201cadmin\u201d and the password is the one you selected during the installation process.<\/p>\n

    From here you will redirected to the admin area.<\/p>\n
