Products can only be added within a product group. Once you have created one or more product groups<\/a>, you will be ready to create products for them. This quick guide shows you how to create a new product within your WHCMS back office.<\/p>\n

Creating a New Product in WHMCS<\/h2>\n

  1. Log into WHMCS<\/a>.\n
    \u00a0<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
  2. \"\"<\/a>Click on Setup >> Products\/Services >> Products\/services<\/strong>\n
    \u00a0<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
  3. \"\"<\/a>Click on the Create A New Product<\/strong> button.\n
    \u00a0<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
  4. \"\"<\/a>Assign it to a product type.\n
    \u00a0<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
  5. \"\"<\/a>Assign it to a product group.\n
    \u00a0<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
  6. \"\"<\/a>Enter the product\u2019s name. Note: When completing the \u201cProduct Name\u201d field, you should use the package name provided in WHM on the \u201cPackages<\/strong>\u2013>Edit a Package<\/strong>\u201d page. Keep in mind when you create a package in WHM named \u201cpackage,\u201d WHM automatically appends the cPanel username to it such as \u201cuserna99_package\u201d<\/span>\n

  7. Click on the Continue<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n
  8. \"\"<\/a>Enter individual details for the product, then click on the Save Changes<\/strong> button.\n

  9. \"\"<\/a>Click the Module Settings<\/strong> tab.\n
    \u00a0<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
  10. \"\"<\/a>Click the drop-down box next to Module Name<\/em> and choose cPanel<\/strong>.\n

  11. \"\"<\/a>You will then be presented with additional setting options, fill them in as needed. The only required field is the WHM Package Name<\/strong>. Note: You should enter the same package name from \u201cStep 6\u201d above.<\/span>\n

  12. \"\"<\/a>Choose if you want WHMCS to automatically create the cPanel accounts when a a purchase is completed. Select from the following options, then click the Save Changes<\/strong> button.

    Automatically setup the product as soon as an order is placed<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Automatically setup the product as soon as the first payment is received<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Automatically setup the product when you manually accept a pending order<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Do not automatically setup this product<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
