Creating a Package<\/a> Pre-Configured Packages<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Creating a hosting package in your WHM allows you to specify several different settings for a cPanel account. For example, you could create a package that includes 5 addon domains while you have an upgraded package that allows up to 15 addon domains. This way you can sell to more clients based on their needs and different price points.<\/p>\n

Creating packages speeds up individual cPanel account creation. It also helps with updating several accounts at once. If you have multiple accounts on the same package changing a setting will apply to all the accounts using it.<\/p>\n

Below are instructions on how to create a hosting package within your Reseller WHM.<\/p>\n

Creating a Package in your Reseller WHM<\/h2>\n

  1. Log into your WHM interface<\/a>.\n

    Click on the Add a Package<\/strong> option located under the Packages<\/em> category from the left-hand menu panel.<\/p>\n

    From the package creation page, first, enter a Package Name<\/strong> and assign limits to the different resources.<\/p>\n

    Next, assign any of the additional Settings<\/strong> you may want to give the package.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
    Options<\/th>\nSelect any additional options you want to provide. Normally, only CGI Access is selected here.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    cPanel Theme<\/th>\nSelect the default cPanel theme (layout) from the dropdown.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Feature List<\/th>\nSelect which feature list to assign to the account. Feature lists specify which cPanel features are available to the user, and are managed within the Feature Manager<\/em> in WHM.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Locale<\/th>\nSelect the default language you want to assign to the cPanels using the package.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

    Pre-Configured Packages<\/h2>\n

    Our Reseller Hosting<\/em> accounts now include three pre-configured packages of different levels: Silver<\/b>, Gold<\/b>, and Platinum<\/b>. You can easily assign a package<\/a> to an existing acount, choose one of these packages when creating cPanel accounts<\/a>, or customize these packages<\/a> to suit your pricing needs. This can save time since you don\u2019t have to create packages<\/a> from scratch. The following guide includes a comparison chart of the packages along with additional details.<\/p>\n
