This article will cover the important configurations you can make in the Localisation tab under the WHMCS General Settings. These steps will apply for VPS, reseller, as well as dedicated web server hosting<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To access your Localisation tab just follow the steps below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Login to your WHMCS Admin<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n

    Hover over Setup<\/em> and choose General Settings<\/em><\/p>\n

  3. \"Localisation<\/a>\n
    \u00a0<\/div>\n

    Choose Localisation<\/em><\/p>\n

  4. Fill in the settings:

    System Charset:<\/th>\nDefault: utf-8<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Date Format:<\/th>\nChoose Display Style for Admins & Staff (must be numeric to allow for date input)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Client Date Format:<\/th>\nChoose the display style for the date you want your clients to use<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Default Country:<\/th>\nSelect your default country<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Default Language:<\/th>\nSelect the default language<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Enable Language Menu:<\/th>\nCheck this to allow users to change the language of the system<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Remove Extended UTF-8 Characters:<\/th>\nCheck this box to automatically remove 4 byte UTF-8 characters such as emoticons from customer ticket posts and emails<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
