In this article, we are going to show you how to access your General Settings so you can start to configure your basic options. This is the first tab under Setup in the backend of WHMCS. (These step will also apply if you use a Linux dedicated server<\/a>.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finding Your General Settings Menu<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Login to your WHMCS Admin<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n

    Hover over Setup<\/em><\/p>\n

    Choose General Settings<\/em><\/p>\n

  4. Fill in the settings:

    Company Name:<\/th>\nYour Company Name as you want it to appear throughout the system<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Email Address:<\/th>\nThe default sender address used for emails sent by WHMCS<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Domain:<\/th>\nThe URL to your website homepage<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Logo URL:<\/th>\nEnter your logo URL to display in email messages or leave blank for none<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Pay To Text:<\/th>\nThis text is displayed on the invoice as the Pay To details<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    WHMCS System URL:<\/th>\nURL of the WHMCS installation, eg. https:\/\/www.example.com\/members\/<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    WHMCS SSL System URL:<\/th>\nURL of the WHMCS installation for secure access, eg. https:\/\/www.yourdomain.com\/members\/ (leave blank for no SSL)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Template:<\/th>\nSelect the template you want to use for WHMCS<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Limit Activity Log:<\/th>\nThe number of activity log entries you wish to keep<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Records to Display per Page:<\/th>\nList the number of log messages you want to display<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Maintenance Mode:<\/th>\nCheck the box to enable, prevents clients from making changes while site is under maintenance<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Maintenance Mode Message:<\/th>\nType the maintenance message you would like to display<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Maintenance Mode Redirect URL:<\/th>\nIf specified, redirects client area visitors to this URL when Maintenance Mode is enabled (you can leave this blank)<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n
