When running a Dedicated <\/strong>server<\/a>, you may need to add PHP Modules<\/em>. This allows you to add more features or specific PHP modules as requested by users on your Dedicated server. In this tutorial, we will show you how to add PHP Modules to a Dedicated PHP Hosting<\/a> server. This is done from the command line using EasyApache.<\/p>\n

Adding PHP Modules on Dedicated Servers<\/h2>\n

  1. Log into your Dedicated<\/strong> Server via SSH<\/a> as the \u201croot<\/a>\u201d user.<\/li>\n
  2. Run the following command in your shell instance:\n
    \/scripts\/easyapache<\/div>\n<\/li>\n
  3. On the next screen choose ** DEFAULT **<\/strong>, then click Tab<\/strong> and choose Customize Profile<\/strong>.

  6. You will see a (short) list of PHP modules, choose the ones you want to install (in my tests, I am selecting Mod Bandwidth<\/strong>). You can also click the Exhaustive Options List<\/strong> for more choices. Once you have made your selections, click Save and Build<\/strong>.

  7. A Confirm Build<\/em> popup will come up and ask if you want to \u201cRecompile Apache and PHP now?<\/em>\u201d Choose Yes<\/strong>.
