When working with SPF records<\/a>, you may find it necessary to add additional IP addresses to allow mail to be sent. These will typically be specific IP block that you are authorizing to send emails on our behalf. Any block in the SPF record will not be stopped as a \u2018spoofing\u2019 server by the servers that check. Below we demonstrate how to add additional IPs to your SPF record within the cPanel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note:<\/strong> You do not have to enter the default server mail IP address. It is already part of the list even though it is not listed.<\/div>\n\n\n\n

How to Add IP Addresses to Your SPF Records<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Log into your cPanel dashboard<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Look for the Email category and click\u00a0Email Deliverability.<\/strong>
    \"Adding<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Click\u00a0Manage<\/strong>\u00a0next to your domain.
    \"Manage<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Scroll down to the\u00a0Suggested \u201cSPF\u201d (TXT) Record\u00a0<\/strong>section and click\u00a0Customize<\/strong>.

    This next page may take a moment to load as it looks up your current SPF record.<\/div><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. In the IP Address section, click the +Add A New \u201c+ip4\u201d Item<\/strong> or +Add A New \u201c+ip6\u201d Item<\/strong> link, depending on which one you want to add.

  6. You will then see a new field available. Enter an IP block using CIDR format.

  7. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Click the Install A Customized SPF Record<\/strong> button. You are finished when you see a \u201cSuccess\u201d message<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
    Please allow 4-24 hours for the new IP addresses to propagate through Internet DNS servers.<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    Now that you have entered the new IP address, it should appear in the list any time you manage the DNS. The IP addresses in the list can now send emails on behalf of your domain without being considered spoofing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
