Products are often sold in variations called product combinations<\/i>. These combinations do not physically change the product, but allow you to sell it in different sizes, colors, etc. The following tutorial walks you through the steps of manually creating combinations in the PrestaShop Administrator interface.<\/p>\n

  1. Login to the PrestaShop Administrator Dashboard<\/a>. <\/li>\n
  2. \"Open<\/a>\n
    <\/div>\n

    Hover over Catalog<\/b> in the menu column to the left of the screen, then click on Products<\/b>. Click on an existing product to make a new combination. You will need to edit an existing product to create combinations. To create a new product, click on Add new product<\/b> in the top right hand corner. New products require at least a name before they can be saved. Click on Save and Stay<\/b> after naming the product.<\/p>\n

    You will see a button for Combinations<\/b> on the left hand side of the screen. Click on Combinations<\/b> to proceed.<\/p>\n

    All products have a default combination. This combination is highlighted blue. To edit an existing combination, click on the Edit<\/b> button located to the right.<\/p>\n

    To create a new combination, click on the button labeled New Combination<\/b>. Fill in each of the fields for the new combination. Each of the following fields are used when creating a combination:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
    Attribute<\/th>\nAn attribute of a product is the basis for a product combination. For example, different colors of the product can result in a different combination. <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Value<\/th>\nAttributes such as colors or sizes can have different values. For example, if your product were a phone an attribute could be, memory size or color.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Reference Code\/EAN-13\/JAN barcode\/UPC barcode<\/th>\nUnique combinations used to identify product for inventory management.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Wholesale price<\/th>\nThe combination price is the price of the product as you would purchase it for inventory. The price should only be listed if it is different from the original product wholesale price.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Impact on price<\/th>\nIf the combination increases or decreases the price then you would indicate it here. Select NONE if the price is not affected<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Impact on weight<\/th>\nIf the combination affects weight you would indicate it in this field. Select NONE if the weight is not affected<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Impact on unit price<\/th>\nIf a product is sold in packs, then the unit price may differ depending on the combination. Indicate if the product combination increases or decreases the price. Or select NONE if there no effect.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Minimum Quantity<\/th>\nMinimum to purchase this combination. Use the value of \u20181\u2019 to disable this feature.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Available date<\/th>\n Date when combination is available for purchase.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Image<\/th>\n Image or images used in the combination<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
    Default<\/th>\n This checkbox that allows you to make the combination the default combination<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/table>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
