By default, it will get the current post.<\/p>\n<p><strong>$output<\/strong>: By default, it will return a WP_Post object. If you would like an associative or numeric array of field values instead, you may define either <em>ARRAY_A<\/em> or <em>ARRAY_N<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>$filter<\/strong>: Here, you can optionally sanitize the post fields. This parameter defaults to <em>raw<\/em> which will not filter the content at all. Optional values are <em>raw<\/em>, <em>edit<\/em>, <em>db<\/em>, <em>display<\/em>, <em>attribute<\/em> or <em>js<\/em>.<\/p>\n<h2>What is returned?<\/h2>\n<p>The <em>get_post()<\/em> function returns a WP_Post object.
