If you are using the breadcrumbs module<\/a> in Joomla 3, you may have noticed that the breadcrumbs\u2019 pathway begins with a You are here<\/strong> pinpoint. If you don\u2019t want this pinpoint to show, you can disable it within the breadcrumb module\u2019s settings.<\/p>\n

How to disable the \u201cYou are here\u201d feature:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Login to your Joomla 3 dashboard<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. In the top menu, click Extensions<\/strong> and then click Module Manager<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. Find and click on your breadcrumb module<\/li>\n
  4. \"You<\/a>\n
    <\/div>\n

    Under the Module tab<\/em> (or Basic Options<\/em> tab, depending on your version of Joomla), find the Show \u201cYou are here\u201d<\/strong> setting. Click No<\/strong> next to it, and then click the Save<\/strong> button in the top left of the page.<\/p>\n

    After saving the changes, the pinpoint no longer shows in the breadcrumbs once the Show \u201cYou are here\u201d<\/strong> setting is disabled.<\/p>\n
