If you need to keep track of events on your website you can utilize the WebCalendar<\/strong> application which can be installed via the Softaculous<\/a> installer. In this guide we\u2019ll walk you through installing this calendar software that you can run on your website.<\/p>\n

  1. Login to cPanel<\/a>\n<\/li>\n
  2. \"click<\/a>\n
    <\/div>\n

    Under the Software \/ Services<\/strong> section, click on Softaculous<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \"type<\/a>\n
    <\/div>\n

    In the search box at the top-right, type in Web<\/strong>, then click on WebCalendar<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \"click<\/a>\n
    <\/div>\n

    Click on Install<\/strong> to begin the installation process<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  5. \"fill<\/a>\n
    <\/div>\n

    Fill out the installation details, the In Directory<\/strong> setting sets where your calendar install will be available from and in this case we\u2019re using calendar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    In this example we\u2019d access our WebCalendar install at example.com\/calendar<\/strong> with the details we provided.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    After the installation completes, you can click on the link to visit your WebCalendar<\/strong> installation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    <\/div>\n

    When you first access the WebCalendar<\/strong> you\u2019ll see this error:<\/p>\n

    My Calendar Error<\/strong>  Error removing temporary file.  The permissions for the following directory do not support the db_cachedir option in includes\/settings.php:  \/tmp<\/pre>\n<\/li>\n

    The setting for db_cachedir<\/strong> will be set to \/tmp<\/strong> by default:<\/p>\n
    db_cachedir: \/tmp<\/pre>\n
    You\u2019ll want to change this to your cPanel user\u2019s \/tmp<\/strong> directory by editing this value to:<\/p>\n
    db_cachedir: \/home\/userna5\/tmp<\/pre>\n
    In this case our cPanel username is userna5<\/strong>, then just click Save<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n
  10.  \"webcalendar<\/a>\n
    <\/div>\n
    Now if you try to access your WebCalendar<\/strong> install again, you should see the month display by default.<\/p>\n
